Betty Jo Drake

Betty Jo Drake, the daughter of Joseph and Lorene Sutton left this life in Green Valley, AZ to dwell in the house of the Lord on January 17, 2020. She was born in the Governors house I Jessie, Oklahoma February 25, 1933. During her youth she traveled around a lot with her parents and had wonderful, adventurous life. Winning beauty pageants and small parts in motion pictures. Her mom wanted her to be a movie star but that’s to what she wanted. she later attended college in Chico where she met her husband Russell (Jack) Drake with whom she raised three daughters and a son. Betty was a stay-at-home mom until her children were pretty much grown then worked and retired from the State of California in 1993. Betty enjoyed drawing, writing poetry, church and her children. Betty was preceded in death by her beautiful oldest daughter Debbie. She is survived by her loving daughters Valerie Seagren (Bill), Karen Shults (Greg) and her devoted son Corey Drake (Kelley), 7 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren with one on the way.

We will miss her beautiful smile. While our hearts are heavy, we reside ourselves that Betty led a wonderful amazing life.
