Dearest Trini I will always remember how sweet & kind-hearted you were to me. You taught me a few things like making a yummy potato soup and your home remedy for fixing a sore throat. My regret is not spending one more visit with you and not being informed of your passing,
that is a horrible feeling since I really cared for you. I think I spent alot of time chatting with you cause Maria was never ready when I'd come for her. You'd always shake your head and say " Aye Maria." You will be forever in my memories and my heart.

May you rest in peace. You are now in a better place. John 14:2 ESV. Jesus said that
In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you?

Trinidad was the first cousin of our mother Teresa Soto Morales (a.k.a. "La Prieta") for whom I had the pleasure of meeting at our first family reunion in 2016 in Phoenix, AZ. Whenever mom played her records she would remember and speak kindly of her tia Beatrice and her prima-hermana Trini and their life growing up in the barrio of Canal Seco. I never thought that in my lifetime I would meet moms cousin so imagine my hearts surprise when I was introduced to her; as Trini was when she learned that I was the baby of moms 12 children. And when I showed her the picture of mom in the green dress, Trini kissed the photo, held it close to her heart and with tears in her eyes she crossed her fingers tightly and exclaimed with deep sincerity, "growing up my prima and I were tight. She, La Prieta, was born August 4, 1922 and I was born December 28, 1922". Trini, go forth to our Lord in Heaven to be with your prima-hermana and all your family and relatives that await your coming. May the Lord receive you and bless you with all the heavenly hosts that await your arrival. God bless all my extended family. May the Lord keep you always in the blanket of His security and grace.

May God give you girls comfort and peace during these difficult days. Thanking God for giving all of us the privilege of having her for so long. I treasure my memories of Tia Trini and anxiously await my reunion with her. She now makes heaven even sweeter.
