Lydia Rebecca Rocha

LYDIA ROCHA At the age of 77, Lydia passed away on September 23, 2018 in Banning, CA where she had been a lifelong resident. She was born on October 17, 1940 in Riverside, CA. She graduated from Banning High School in 1958. She worked for McDonalds for 29 years and for Deutsch. She was active with the Mexican American Scholarship Assoc. in the 1980s.

Lydia is survived by her husband Martin Rocha of Banning, CA; son Martin Rocha Jr. of Palm Springs, CA; daughter Tani Randolff of Glenrock, WY; son Mario Rocha of Riverside, CA; daughter Ahni Rocha Redmond (Frankie) of San Marcos, CA; brother Lupe Amesquita of Banning, CA; granddaughter, Marti (Robert); granddaughter Cierra Redmond; grandson Connor Redmond; granddaughter Franki Redmond; great granddaughter Rubi; aunt Consuelo Mediano of Banning, many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by parents Guadalupe and Frances Amesquita; sisters Naomi Enriquez and Cora Miller; brother David Amesquita and son-in-law John Horney.

Memorial Service will be at 10am on Monday, October 8 and Wiefels & Son Mortuary in Banning, CA with graveside service following at San Gorgonio Memorial Cemetery. Reception to follow at Banning Community Center.
