William Thomas Simpson died peacefully on November 11, 2021 with his loving wife of 62 years by his side. William was a country boy at heart, born on August 27, 1930 in Hartshorne, Oklahoma to Frank and Florence Simpson. William was part of a large, loving family with six beautiful sisters whose love and support continued throughout the years. The family moved to California where William excelled academically. He was also a stellar athlete, gifted musician and loved to dance. After graduating high school, William joined the United States Navy where he served honorably for six years until his discharge on February 9, 1954.
William met the love of his life, Anita, and the two were married on April 18, 1959. They had two remarkable children, Thomas and Ann-Marie. As a family, they explored the world and enjoyed magnificent adventures together.
William was an accomplished Electrical Engineer for over 30 years until he decided to retire and pursue his love of golf. Everyone who knew William knew he was an extremely loving, kind person and loved his family very much. He was survived by his wife Anita, daughter Ann-Marie, grandchildren Devin and Jazmyne, and sisters Mary, Martha, Betty and Naomi.
William was preceded in death by his son Thomas Simpson, parents Frank and Florence Simpson and his sisters Wanda Jean Woolley and Dorcas Rico.
