Purificacion Colis Stifter

Purificacion "Puring" Stifter, was born on February 2, 1949, in Ilocos Sur, Philippines, and entered eternal life on January 19, 2024, in Beaumont, California.

In 1971, she married the love of her life, Gary Stifter. Their union was blessed with three wonderful children: Yvonne Dietrich, Matthew Stifter, and Allyson Gregorio, and further enriched by the laughter and love of six adoring grandchildren.

Puring's passion for education was evident in her pursuit of knowledge, culminating in 18 years of education and the attainment of multiple teaching credentials, including special education and administrative credentials. Her career as a school principal will leave an indelible mark on the many lives she touched.

She was very helpful and always put others before herself. Puring was the most selfless person we knew. She was compassionate, full of love, sweet, and forgiving. She was a devout member of Saint Kateri Tekakwitha Church as well as the "Let's Dance at Four Seasons Beaumont" group.

She leaves behind a family that adores her: her devoted husband of 52 years, Gary; her loving children, Yvonne, Matthew, and Allyson; her cherished grandchildren; and her caring siblings, Isabel and Frankie. She was preceded by her parents Benjamin and Monica Aquino and brothers Benjamin Jr and Flordelino Aquino.

Visitation will be held Monday February 5, 2024 4-8:00 pm with Rosary at 7:00pm at Wiefels and Son Memorial Chapel 50 E Nicolet St, Banning, Ca 92220

Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday February 6, 2024 11:00 am at Saint Kateri Tekakwitha Church 1234 Palm Ave, Beaumont, Ca 92223.

Graveside following the mass at Riverside National Cemetery 22495 Van Buren Blvd, Riverside, Ca 92518
