Patrick Lara Ramirez

Patrick L. Ramirez, age 71, passed away in San Bernardino, CA on August 14, 2020. He was born in Los Angeles, CA to his parents Henry and Julia Ramirez on January 24, 1949. A resident of Rialto, CA for 30 years, he was also a prior 10-year resident of Pomona, CA.

A Sergeant with the United States Marine Corp, Pat served his country proudly for 10-years. His medals and awards included, the Vietnam Campaign Medal w/Device, Navy Unit Citation, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Rifle Sharpshooter Badge, and Good Conduct Medal.

Patrick was a 25-year retired Carrier for the U.S. Postal Service, and for 10 years a Charter Bus Driver for Alliance Bus Lines.

Patrick was of Catholic faith and raised his family to love the Lord.

Patrick is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Sheryl Ramirez of Rialto, CA; daughter, Michele Ramirez and son-in-law, Robert Sadaty of Naples, FL; daughter, Cindy Vanderlinden of Rancho Cucamonga, CA; mother, Julia Ramirez of Arcadia, CA; grandchildren, Breanne Machado and grandson-in-law Pierre Machado, Lexi Vanderlinden, Adrian Sadaty, Adam Sadaty, Ty Vanderlinden, Sabrina Sadaty; great granddaughter, Kayla Rose Machado; brothers, Henry, Steve, Andy, Danny, Greg and Jim; sisters, Teri, Lucy, Kathy and Donna; friends, Aaron, Waldo and Jason. He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Ramirez; brother, Timothy Ramirez; sister, Grace Ramirez.
