Patricia Anne Watson

Patricia Anne Watson, age 87 of Banning, CA passed away on September 30, 2020. Patricia was born on April 2, 1933 in Ferndale, MI. A 28 year resident of Banning, Ca, she is a former resident of Torrance, CA, 15 yrs; Mission Viejo, CA, 5 yrs; Irvine, CA 2 yrs; Santa Ana/No. Tustin, CA, 20 yrs; Orange, CA, 5 yrs.

Patricia graduated from Paoli High School in Paoli, Indiana. She later began working at the Boys Club of Tustin as a secretary for 4 years. She was Co-Owner of Research-Development Associates for 10 years and House Manager for the Ronald McDonald House of Orange County for 5 years. Patricia volunteered for the Children’s Hospital of Orange County and Orangewood Children’s Home also of Orange County.

Patricia was a Christian and attended LifePoint Church of Banning, CA.

Pat never met a stranger, and she welcomed the opportunity to pray with or for anyone at any time. Pat also loved “adopting” grandchildren. She loved babies and toddlers, and she enjoyed spoiling the kids at her church with small to

The family appreciated the employees of Morongo Indian Gas Station who always treated Pat as if she were family as they pumped gasoline for her. Also, the entire family, owners of Ramona’s Restaurant in Beaumont were a second family to Pat (and Herb).

Patricia is survived by her sons, Lance (Deloris) Blacker of Mariana, FL and Stephen (Kathy) Blacker of Mission Viejo, CA; daughter, Lynn Dahnke (Dan Miller) of Santa Ana, CA; stepson, Bruce (Barbara) Watson of Murrells Inlet, SC; 8 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Herbert M. Watson, Jr. of Banning, CA; father, Raymond Merle Mayes of Paoli, IN; mother, Frances Onita Gibson of Jay, OK.
