Patricia Ann Lea 89 of Banning passed away at her home on August 11, 2024.
Patricia was born on April 28, 1935 in Saginaw Michigan to Charles Hecht and Helena Emma Barbara Veitengruber.

Patricia grew up in Frankenmuth, Michigan a small German town which was settled in 1845 by Lutheran immigrants.

Following graduation she worked at a fire insurance company. She met her husband, William Antoine Lea, in 1955. They were married on April 14, 1956 at St. Lorenz Church in Frankenmuth Michigan. Their honeymoon was spent traveling to California to see family and start their new life. They settled in Banning.

Patricia spent her younger years raising her four children. She enjoyed sewing matching clothes for her them, baking, and spending time on camping trips. When Patricia's children were older, she began working in the Banning High School Cafeteria.

Following her retirement, Pat and her husband Bill began traveling. They took numerous cruises and trips across the United States. Once grandchildren arrived, Pat and Bill spent their time driving up and down the state of California. They also attended every High School Graduation ceremony of their 13 grandchildren.

Pat spent many years volunteering at San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital in the gift shop. She was also very involved with the Lutheran Church Women's group and Bible study.
She loved playing cards and games, and passed that love onto all her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Patricia was preceded in death by the love of her life, William on August 21, 2019. She is survived by her children Mark Lea, Gail Lederer, Ann Abold (Steven), Lora Marcus (Dominic Martin), 13 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren with another expected in November and the first great great grandchild expected later this year.

The family will be honoring her life on Friday August 23 rd at 5:00pm at Our Savior's Lutheran Church 1320 W. Williams in Banning California.
