Nolan Mojado Briones was born to Charles Anthony Briones SR and Leatrice "Hutch" Briones.
He attended Noli Indian School, where he participated in multiple sports, including playing on the very first football team and golf team. It was at Noli School that he met the love of his life, Angela "Tasheena" Livas. These high school sweethearts spent 22 beautiful years together in love, building a home on the Morongo Indian Reservation and raising their exceptional son, Nolan Briones II.

Nolan was an extraordinary father and son, actively supporting all his son's extracurricular activities and fundraising for various sports to benefit his community. He was a devoted member of the Morongo Band of Mission Indians, with a deep appreciation for his native culture and community. Nolan attended all tribal meetings and functions, staying informed on tribal affairs. He further served his tribe by attaining multiple seats on the Morongo METEN Board Inc., the Morongo planning Commission, and the Morongo Economic Development committee.
Passionate about tribal issues, Nolan pursued further education with the ICC Indian Enterprises, completing numerous courses and earning certifications as an Indian Land Associate Level 1 in 2019 and Level 2 in 2020.
Nolan had a variety of interests, including poker, fishing, karaoke, bowling, and sports. He was a massive wrestling fan, particularly of the WWF, and owned every DVD and CD. His favorite sports teams were the Anaheim Angels (Baseball), Philadelphia Eagles (Football), and LA Clippers ( Basketball).

Nolan is survived by his mother, Leatrice "Hutch" Briones; his step-mother, Lucille Briones; the love of his life, Anela "Tasheena" Livas; and his phenomenal son, Nolan Briones II. He also survived by his siblings, Nahtanha Briones (Max Hernandez), Joaquina Soza (Edward Soza JR.),Rueben Briones, Delbert Briones, and Eloyd Rodriguez,(Rose Rodriguez), and many nieces and nephews: Brionna, Arionna, Xavier, Amy, Lil Fella, Max, Pamela Rose, Kailey, Anysa, Alayah, Micaiyah, Charlie, Michael, Reuben JR., Hadassah, SayDee, Yahkim, Eliana, Cynthia, and Zia Vincent, Tukwut, Temet, Ruben, Soowut, Ritchie, Gagey, Sovovs'lswut. His Great Aunts: Eunice Mathews, Francis Miguel and his eldest cousin Jerry Lomas as well as a countless numbers of cousins and friends.

Nolan was preceded in death by his father, Charles Anthony Briones SR., and his older brother, Charles Anthony Briones JR.

Nolan will be deeply missed by all who new him.
