Mary Lou Sanchez

Mary Lou Sanchez, age 79 years, passed away with family by her side at San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital, of Banning, CA on September 26, 2019. She was born on August 2, 1940 in Banning, CA where she spent her life whole life. After graduating from High School, she met and married her husband, John; they were married 63 years

Mary Lou was a Teacher’s Aide and retired after 20 years. Mary Lou was a member of St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Church, formerly Precious Blood, where she also worked as a T.A. for 2 years. Mary Lou loved working with kids and being a team mother for little league.

Mary Lou is survived by her loving husband, John Sanchez of Banning, CA; daughters, Erma Sanchez of Banning, CA, Sylvia Ferch of Lebanon, OR, Diane Flores of Las Vegas, NV and Sandra Kalanquin of San Bernardino, CA; son, Alfonso Sanchez of Banning, CA; granddaughters, Celena Velasquez of Beaumont, CA, Erica Williams of Corvallis, OR, Alianna Sanchez of  CA, MaryLou Osborn of Riverside, CA, Mandy Kalanquin of Lansing, MI; grandsons, Vincent Sanchez of Banning, CA, Daniel Ferch of Banning, CA, John Sanchez Jr. III of Indio, CA, Joseph Sanchez of Indio, CA, Mathew Sanchez of Coachella, CA, Eduardo Hernandez of Las Vegas, NV, Jessie Aguirre of Las Vegas, NV, Alfonso Sanchez Jr. of Moreno Valley, CA, Leon Sanchez of Moreno Valley, CA, David Osborn at Torrance, CA, Brian Osborn of Grand Rapids, MI; sisters, Antonia Contreras of Banning, CA, Lupe Darrow of Beaumont, CA, Lola Linnet of Redlands, CA; brothers, Saturnino Garcia of Banning, CA, Andy Garcia, Banning, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents Aniseto and Anita Garcia of Banning, CA; son, John Sanchez, Jr of Indio, CA; grandson, Gabriel Sanchez of La Quinta CA

A Rosary will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 with Mass at 11:00 a.m. both at St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Church, Banning. Burial to immediately follow at San Gorgonio Memorial Park, Banning, CA.
