Mary Duran Obituary

Mary K. Duran "Kathy" was born in New York on October 16, 1951, to parents Karl J. Worsinger from Pennsylvania and Letha F. McCance from Missouri.

Kathy's father died when she was an infant. Her mother then moved to California to work at Pomona Air Force Base. Kathy later with her mom moved to Norco, where she got horse fever. Kathy had two black horses, "Midnight" and her foal "Shadow", she cared for them on her own. Kathy moved to Perris, after her mother passed away.

At seventeen she got close to God and received Jesus as her Lord and Savior. She joined The Way Chapel and loved teaching children's bible classes.

Work brought her to the Pass. She worked for Deutsch Co, a computer chip company and became a supervisor. Kathy later took a cashier job at Circle K as it was closer to home. She met her future husband, Manuel Duran, there and soon married.

Kathy and her husband Manuel were blessed with a little bundle of joy. She named her Naomi Grace, both names out of the Bible.

Kathy and Manuel were going on their 46th Anniversary this year 10-20-2025.

She had been sick for the past two years but kept it from her husband and daughter. Kathy didn't want them to worry. She succumbed to her last heart attack. She passed from this life to her Eternal Life with her Lord and Savior Jesus.

Kathy stepped into Heaven out of her Manuel's hand to Jesus' waiting arms. She did not suffer at her last breath and heartbeat on earth. She will be sorely missed until we too join her in Heaven with the rest of our family and friends.

Kathy was preceded by her mom and dad, cousins Marine and David McCance, aunts Dorthy and Francis, uncles Harold and Russel McCance.

Kathy is survived by husband Manuel, daughter Naomi, and grandchild Nathone Colbert. Her second family which includes Oralia & family, Estolio & family, Rosalia & family, Froilan and Efrian along with their loved ones.

Kathy's body is being cared for by Wiefels and Son Mortuary, no viewing will take place as she wished to be cremated and her ashes taken back with her husbands to Alliance, Nebraska, next to her husband's family plot.

Any donations can be made in her honor to:

The American Bible Society, The Rutherford Institute, or The Salvation Army
