Linda Ann Hough, a cherished wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed peacefully into the arms of the Lord on September 28, 2024, at the Morongo Reservation, one day after celebrating her 76th birthday. Born on September 27, 1948, in Riverside, CA, to the late Clinton Orlin Hough Sr. and Maxine Anna Hough, Linda was a beacon of faith and love throughout her life.
A proud graduate of Yucaipa High School's class of 1966, Linda dedicated her working years to nurturing the young minds of those she cared for as a child caregiver. Her generous spirit and quick wit left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
Linda's legacy is carried on by her devoted husband of 18 years, Art Loera; her loving son, Richard Myhre, loving daughter Katherine Johnson and her husband; her caring stepchildren, Olivia Cannady and husband, Melissa Loera, Art Loera Jr. and wife, and Steven Loera; her siblings Mary Ostdick and husband, Robert Hough and wife, and Carol Loya; her beloved 18 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her father Clinton Orlin Hough Sr., her mother Maxine Anna Hough, and her brother Clinton Orlin Hough Jr., Linda now reunites with them in everlasting peace.
Without a doubt, Linda lived a faith-filled life, touching many with her funny, generous nature. She was a Godly woman who poured her kindness into her community and stood firm in her beliefs. Linda's memory will forever be treasured in the hearts of her extensive family and friends, who were blessed to know such an extraordinary soul.
