John Albert Kunkle was born March 9, 1926, in Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania.
He passed away May 12, 2023, in Wildomar, California at the age of 97.
He served in the Army Air Force 1944-1946 and the Korean War for six months in the Reserves.
John Co-Owned and operated 7/11 stores in National City and Chula Vista, California.
He also owned Pine Cove Grocery Store Gas Station and Postal Branch.
His passion was donating blood to the Blood Bank in San Bernardino till pass 70 years old equaling over 30 gallons of blood.
John lived at Wildomar Assited Living Facility for the last 7 years with his wife Janet of 70 years.
He is survived by 6 children, 7 grand children, 6 great grand children, 2 nephews and 3 nieces.
He passed away May 12, 2023, in Wildomar, California at the age of 97.
