Howard Toro Obituary

Howard Anthony Toro was born June 4, 1934 on the Morongo Indian Reservation.
He passed peacefully at his home with his family by his side on July 12, 2025.
He lived in Indio, Banning and The Morongo Indian Reservation. Graduating in Cochella.
He was a landscaper for Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs.
He was a Morongo Tribal Member , Supporting Little league as a Cofounder of the Nighthhawks which turned into Familia softball team.
He received a Scholarship, and was a Member of the Firefighter Group on the reservations.
He was able to experience 5 generations of his family.
He is survived his wife Manuela Toro for 71 years., Sons Tony ( Debbie) Toro, Fred Toro, Andrew SR (Clarissa)Toro, Wayne Toro, Barney (Laura) Toro. Daughters Jo Anne Toro, Maxine (Anthony) Toro. God Daughter Cindy Tortes, Sister Beverly Welmas, Brother-in-Law , Fred Moreno SR.
31 Grand Children, over 80 Great Grandchildren & 2 Great Great Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew & Dominga Toro, Brother Leroy Toro, Sister Viginia Welmas. Sons Manuel, Ronnie & Norman Toro, Daughter Virginia Toro.
