Donald Dennis Miller, age 81, passed away peacefully at his home on the Morongo Indian Reservation on August 25, 2025. He was born on October 16, 1943, to the late Bob Miller and Jewel Waite.
Donald is survived by his loving wife, Sharon Miller; his sons, Matthew Miller, John McCullough, Michael McCullough, daughter Debbie Griffin and daughter in law Sabrina Miller; his cherished grandchildren, Ricky Miller, Daniel Miller, Chris McCullough, Justin Griffin, Aaron Griffin, Michael McCullough, Tiffany McCullough, Scott McCullough, Heather Tkatch, Brittany McCullough; and great- grandchildren Hunter McCullough, Roxanne McCullough, Quincy McCullough, Alex Griffin, Noah Griffin, Emma Griffin, Zoey McCullough, Samantha McCullough, Noah Ramirez, Sophie Ramirez, Bodie Tkatch. He is also survived by his brothers Tom Troutman and Robert Miller, sisters Becky and Alice, sister-in-law Evalinda Troutman, nephews Thomas Troutman III and Marcus Troutman Sr, great nephew Marcus Troutman Jr, and great nieces Lexy and Vellah Troutman.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Bonnie Huff, and his brother, John Troutman.
Donald was a man of faith who was actively involved in his church, where he built lasting friendships and shared his devotion with others. He will be remembered for the love he had for his family, his faith, and the positive impact he made on those who knew him. His presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
A viewing will be held on Friday, September 12, 2025, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Wiefels & Sons Memorial Chapel in Banning, California.
Funeral services will take place on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Wiefels & Sons Memorial Chapel, with burial to follow at Morongo Tribal Cemetery.
