Delia (Rodriguez) Del Rio

Our Darling Delia Del Rio, was part of a big loving family. She lived in Banning, California for the majority of her life, met and married her husband Thomas Medina Del Rio and created a family of their own. They had six children Tina Velasquez, Elizabeth "Liz" Cortez, Diana Dusky, Margarita Del Rio, Thomas Rosario Del Rio and Rosendo Del Rio.
Delia passed away in Riverside California on September 11, 2022 at the age of 79. She born in Brawley, California on April 4, 1943.
Delia is survived by her four daughters Tina Velasquez, Elizabeth "Liz" Cortez of Banning, California, Diana Dusky of Cabazon, California and Margarita Del Rio of Whitewater, California; two sons Thomas Rosario Del Rio and Rosendo Del Rio of Banning, California; five sisters Nellie Flores of Beaumont, California, Dolores Monica of Palm Springs, Mary Miller of Hemet California, Josie Rodriguez of Temecula, California and Nina Raby of Ogden, Utah; five brothers Rudy Rodriguez, Ralph Rodriguez, Ricky Rodriguez and Bennie Rodriguez of Banning, California and Roy Rodriguez of Cabazon, California. She leaves a family legacy of 31 grandchildren, 55 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Delia was preceded in death by her parents Manuel Castro Rodriguez and Altagracia Reyes Rodriguez of Banning, California; her husband Thomas Medina Del Rio; sister Jennie Rodriguez of Banning, California and two brothers Robert Rodriguez of Banning, California and Rocky Rodriguez of Cabazon, California.
She loved praying the rosary and attending prayer group. She loved to dance and sing; she was a jokester and her silly personality. Her Contagious laugh and kind heart made it easy to love her just as much. She loved to create, sew and knit things for her friends and family. She was the softest, purest most angelic soul who loved everyone.
