David Andrew Ceci, born on January 27, 1962, in Riverside, California, was a man whose adventurous spirit and passionate heart left an indelible mark on all who knew him. He passed away peacefully on December 18, 2023, in Beaumont, California, surrounded by the love of his family.
David's early life in the pass area of Calimesa, Banning, Beaumont, and Yucaipa laid the foundation for his resilient and loving character. He was a graduate of Yucaipa High School in 1980. He met the love of his life, Carol, and the two embarked on a journey together that would span 32 years filled with joy, love, and unwavering companionship.
In 1991, their adventurous nature led them to leave California in 1994, setting down new roots in Pahrump, Nevada. Two years later, they moved to Kingman, Arizona, where they spent over two decades nurturing their family and creating a home filled with laughter and love before returning to California in 2017.
In 2013, he won his first street stock race at Mohave Raceway, an accomplishment that was followed by winning the championship for street stock that same year. His dedication and skill also translated into his professional life, where he excelled as a Driver and Heavy Equipment Operator at Pavement Recycling Systems in California and at Lewis Equipment in Kingman, Arizona.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Carol Ceci; his cherished children, Audra and Nathan Vierra of Arizona, Ray and Amy Palmer of California, and Augie and Rachel Lopez of Arizona; his loving mother, Shirley Mann of California; his father, Ronald Ceci Sr. of Oregon; his siblings, Sheila and Victor Viezer, Leilani and Ryan Belloir, Dana and Matt Coon, Don and Brenda Valdez, JoAnne and Denny Chaparro, Denise and Matt Brown, Tina Currier, and Debi Shadwick; his aunt Phyllis and Tim Wolfington; his uncle Valentino Ceci; and cousins Val and Marie Ceci, Helen and Greg Card.
David's legacy also lives on through his seven cherished grandchildren: Tyler Brun, Desiray Daniels, Ava Lopez, Hailey and Madisyn Palmer, Gavin Vierra, and Jase Denman.
David's life was further enriched by his many nieces and nephews, including Jeremy and Claudia Brown, Ryan and Nicole Valdez, Landon Valdez, Lacey Valdez, Stella and Miguel Hernandez, Veronica and Mark Emerson, Nicole and Garrett Jones, Steve Monte Jr, Scott Columbo, Tiffany Pree, Shadee Johnson, Jon and Carol Wallis, Robert and Shayla Albini, Jessica and Joe Ramos, Frank and Cassandra Brown, Laurentina Chaparro, Denny Jr and Adriana Chaparro, and Micheal Garrison.
