Crystal Ann Harris, a beacon of love and faith, was called home to her eternal rest on December 27, 2025, at the age of 57. Born on March 10, 1968, in Loma Linda, California, Crystal's life was a testament to the strength and warmth of her spirit. She departed this earthly realm in Irvine, California, surrounded by the love of her family and the peace of her unwavering faith.
Crystal was the cherished wife of Dr. David L. Harris Sr., with whom she shared a beautiful and enduring partnership. Together, they raised a family that was her pride and joy: sons Aaron Lewis and David L. Harris Jr., and daughter Jade Harris. Her role as a grandmother to Aubrielle, Aiyana, Alianna, Avery, Aaryn, Ava, Maci, and David Harris III was one she embraced with every ounce of her being. She was a guiding star in their lives, instilling in them the values of love and faith that she held so dear.
Born to Jenell and Edward Lara Jr., Crystal grew up with a strong foundation of family values, alongside her brothers Edward C. Lara and Ethan Lara. She was a source of light and comfort within her extended family, which included her mother-in-law Katherin Harris, as well as her cherished relations Dejrah Young, Charles Walton, and the families of Teresa & Edward Lara and Thomas & Geneva Moore. Crystal was preceded in death by her beloved grandparents, uncle Thomas Lara, father-in-law Nathaniel Harris Jr., and sisters-in-law Adrienne Pete and Patrice Harris.
Professionally, Crystal was a respected grocery store manager, where her kindness and leadership touched the lives of both customers and colleagues. Her work was more than a job; it was an extension of her commitment to serve and uplift her community.
A devout Christian, Crystal's life was deeply rooted in her faith. She was an active and devoted member of the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, where her presence was a source of comfort and inspiration. Crystal's faith was her compass, guiding her through life's challenges and joys with grace and resilience.
Those who knew Crystal will remember her as loving and kind, a woman whose faith-filled life was a living sermon of compassion and generosity. She met the world with a heart full of love and hands ready to serve, embodying the Christian virtues she held so close.
Crystal Ann Harris's legacy is one of love, service, and unwavering faith. Her memory will be cherished and kept alive in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her. As we bid farewell to this remarkable woman, we take solace in the belief that she is now at peace in the loving embrace of her Creator.
