Cheryl Jernigan, a vibrant soul known for her wit and warmth, passed away on July 21, 2024, in Banning, California. She was born on December 22, 1945, in Redlands, California.
Her laughter was a staple at family gatherings, she enjoyed spending time with her daughters, Rhonda Roberts (Pete) and Carrie Evans (Ronnie), as well as her beloved grandchildren, Michael Scott Jr, Sean Ramirez (Ken), Rodger D. Roberts (Veronica), Steven Roberts, and Cliff Stone. Cheryl was also a cherished sister to Kathie Luciano (Jesse) and Karen Rich (Jeff), and an adored great-grandmother to three.
Cheryl graduated from Pacific High School and thoroughly loved her job as a Bingo Cashier at Casino Morongo.
Cheryl's interests painted a vivid picture of her dynamic personality, from cheering on her favorite LA Dodgers to feeling the adrenaline rush of Nascar races. She took pride in driving her '72 Chevelle at Route 66.
She is preceded in death by her son Rodger Roberts, her mother Kathleen Griffin, her father James McDonald, and her husband Don Jernigan. Cheryl will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Friday, August 9, 2024 Graveside Interment of Ashes at 10:00am San Gorgonio Memorial Park, 2201 N San Gorgonio Ave, Banning, Ca 92220
