She was a loving Nana to 25 great-grandchildren and 3 great great grandsons. She was active with the Church Choir at Saint Kateri Tekakwitha (of which she was a lifetime parishioner), with the the Mexican-American Scholarship Assoc & Club Latino Americano, which was co-founded by her parents. Cecelia relished in the fact that everyone knew her door was always open for friends and family to stop by and have a cup of coffee and sweet treat. She was able to enjoy up the company of many friends and relatives who found their way into her kitchen for a chat. That's what memories are made of.
