Bonita Lou (Beyer) Spykerman

Bonita (Bonnie) Lou Spykerman, age 87 passed away on October 2, 2020 in Buena Park, CA. Bonita was born in Holland, MI to her parents Tom and Lilian Beyre on June 25, 1933.

Bonita was a 32-year resident of Cherry Valley, CA, formerly of Holland Michigan, 30yrs and La Habra, CA, 25yrs.

Bonita was a homemaker, active in the Highland Springs Village Clubs & activities and Golfer of the Year. Bonita was a Christian and attended Mountain Avenue Baptist Church.

Bonnie was a well-loved woman who loved the Lord Jesus, her family and her friends.

Bonita is survived by her husband, Wilbur (Spyke) Spykerman; sons, James Spykerman, Steve (Julie) Spykerman and Gary (Susan) Spykerman; grandchildren, David, Sandy, Amy, Dan, Mark, Michelle, Kevin, Brian, and Karen; brother, Tom Beyer; 18 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Don Spykerman; parents, Tom and Lilian Beyer; sisters, Patricia VanWieren, Hope Waalkes and Barbara Koll; granddaughter, Kristin Joy Johnson.

Viewing will take place Monday, October 12, 2020 from 9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m., Wiefels & Son Mortuary, Banning, CA. Burial immediately to follow, 12:15 p.m. at Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, CA.

In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorials to Mountain Avenue Baptist Church, Banning, CA.
