Barbara Jayne King

Barbara Jayne King passed away Monday, November 8, 2021 at her home in Sun Lakes in Banning, CA at the age of 88. She was born August 6, 1933 at St. Vincent Hospital in Los Angeles, CA. Barbara attended Mt. San Antonio College, where she received an Associates of Science Degree in Nursing. She was a Registered Nurse at Pomona Medical Center and worked on the Surgical Floor for twenty years before retiring at the age of 65. Barbara was a member of the Sun Lakes' Drama Club, Ladies Executive Golf Club, Garden Club, Art Club, Friendship Club, Bobber Exercise Club, and 80 Plus Club. She followed Lutheran beliefs and attended Grace Lutheran Church in Banning, CA.

Barbara will be missed dearly by her sons, Brian J. King, Jr. of Raleigh, NC, Michael S. King of Phelan, CA, Patrick J. King of Las Vegas, NV, Casey T. King of Phelan, CA, Daniel C. King of Rancho Cucamonga, CA; seventeen grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. She is proceeded in death by her husband of 44 years, Brian J. King, Sr. of Banning, CA; and parents, James and Mary Rundell of Diamond Bar, CA.

A funeral service will take place at 11:00 am on Friday, December 17, 2021 at Grace Lutheran Church in Banning, CA. In lieu of flowers, family kindly requests that no donations be made.
