Antonia Garcia Contreras

Antonia G. Contreras, 93, passed away Thursday, December 30, 2021. She was born June 1, 1928 in Banning, CA, where she lived most of her life. She also lived in El Centro, CA for two months. Antonia completed school through the eighth grade. She followed Catholic beliefs.

Antonia will be missed dearly by her siblings, Nino Garcia (Stella) of Banning, CA, Andy Garcia of Banning, CA, and Dolores Linet of Redlands, CA; brothers-in-law, Jack Linet and John Sanchez; children, John Contreras of Banning, CA, Robert Contreras of Beaumont, CA, Marie Contreras of Banning, CA, and Frank Contreras, Sr., of Banning, CA; grandson, Frank Contreras, Jr., of Banning, CA; great-grandson, Zechariah Contreras of Banning, CA; and the Valasques family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Anita and Aniesto Garcia; siblings, Agapito Garcia, Frank Garcia, Virginia Ortega, MaryLou Sanchez, Amparo Lopez, and Lupe Darrow; sister-in-law, Delfina Garcia; brother-in-laws, Rudy Lopez, Raymond Ortega, and Albert Darrow.

A viewing will take place Monday, January 17, 2022 from 4:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. at Wiefels & Son Mortuary in Banning, CA. A memorial service will take place at 10:00a.m. on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at Wiefels & Son.
