Alma Jo Fultz, 84, of Banning, passed away peacefully in her home, after a long illness, on July 6, 2025.

Born in Louisville, Tennessee, Alma Jo moved with her family to Cathedral City in 1951. She graduated from Palm Springs High School in 1958. In 1959, she married Don Fultz of Banning, where they made their home and raised their two sons, Daren and Luke.

She was a strong, loving, and devoted mother, mother-in-law, sister, aunt and friend. She opened her doors to all her loved ones, and her home was a safe haven for them.

Alma Jo joins her husband, Don; father, Elmo J. Jones; mother, Nellie M. Jones; and brothers, Sam A. and Phil B. Jones.

She leaves behind her sons, Daren Fultz (wife, Ana Maria Figueroa-Fultz) and Luke Fultz (wife, Heather Fultz); brother, Robin Jones (wife, Jo Ellen); and many nieces and nephews.

We will come together for a celebration of Alma’s life at a later date.
