In loving Memory
We announce the passing of Alfredo Fowler Arzubiaga, a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and unforgettable presence to all who knew him.
Alfredo was born on December 16, 1943, so today, on his heavenly birthday, we honor a man whose life was defined by laughter, sacrifice, and unwavering devotion to those he loved.
His love story began when he was introduced to his wife, Susana, at a party by her sister, Juana. That evening marked the beginning of a beautiful journey. Alfredo and Susana went on to share 57 years of marriage, building a life rooted in partnership, perseverance, and deep affection. Their anniversary will forever be honored on December 20, 2025, the day of his service.
Alfredo was, above all, a family man. His greatest priority was always ensuring that his family was taken care of, supported, and deeply loved. If you ever met him, you immediately knew how proud he was of his family. Alfredo built a successful career as a pharmaceutical representative in Peru before starting over in 1980, when he and Susana immigrated to the United States. Alfredo earned a second degree in engineering and went on to become an executive at AT&T, where he built a distinguished career before retiring.
He was known as the life of the party, the funniest person in the room. His life was filled with joy, humor, and countless shared meals with family-often centered around Peruvian food and cookies. Alfredo loved life in motion-soccer in his younger years, followed by tennis and golf, fast and beautiful sports cars, and long walks holding Susana's hand. He loved reading, staying informed about the world, and was a lifelong learner who never stopped growing. Most of all, he loved being a grandfather, cherishing every moment with Mason Arzubiaga and Cassidy Arzubiaga, who brought him immense pride and joy.
Alfredo is survived by his beloved wife, Susana; his children Alfredo Arzubiaga Jr. and Carla Arzubiaga; and his daughter-in-law Jeanne Arzubiaga. He was preceded in death by his cherished daughter, Claudia Arzubiaga.
