Thomas - Elizondo

Thomas “Tommy” Elizondo, age 63, of Banning, CA, passed away Friday, April 19, 2019 at San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital of Banning. Tommy was born on June 9, 1955 in Banning, CA to his parents, Amparo and Ramon Elizondo. Tommy was born and raised in Banning he later lived in Longview, WA for approximate 5 years before returning.

After graduating from High School, Tommy served in the United States Marines and received an honorable discharge. He later worked went to work as a weyerhaeuser for the Lumber Mills for about 5 years. Tommy was a loving, caring man. Tommy’s favorite pastime was walking through Banning and stopping to visit with friends. He loved to participate in family events, especially when it included horseshoes. He was loved by family and friends alike. He will be greatly missed.

Tommy is survived by his mother, Amparo Elizondo of Banning, CA; daughters, Christina Elizondo of Roy, WA, and Michelle Aldrich of Longview, WA; sisters, Flavia Bock of Banning, CA, Teresa Heslop of Banning, CA, Carmen Alvarez of Carlsbad, NM, Minnie Gomez of Las Cruces, NM, and Delma Pineda of Carlsbad, NM; three grandchildren.

Tommy was preceded in death by his father, Ramon Elizondo of Banning, CA; brothers, Oswaldo Elizondo and Ray Michael Elizondo both of Banning, CA.

Visitation & Rosary will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., at Wiefels & Son Memorial Chapel, Banning, CA. Funeral Mass will take place at 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 3, 2019 at Saint Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Church in Banning, CA. A private interment will take place on a later date.
