Stanley Curtis Downs

Stanley C. Downs, age 87, passed away at his home in Cherry Valley, CA on March 31, 2018 with his loving wife by his side. Born on June 13, 2018 in Beloit, WI to his parents Floyd and Rosa Downs he was also a prior resident of Hayward, CA for 32 years.

Stanley graduated High School and attended a trade school for Auto Repair; served in the United States Air Force and was stationed in Japan & Korea. As part of the survey crew, he was employed for 30 years with East Bay Municipal Utility District, Oakland, CA.

Stanley enjoyed auto repair in his off hours, Fishin & Jeepin. He will be dearly missed.

Stanley is survived by his loving wife, Georgina C. Downs of Cherry Valley, CA; son, Scott F. Downs of Banning, CA; sister, Gladys Wuthrich of Orfordville, WI and numerous nieces & nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Rosa Downs; sisters, Ruth & Mary.

Funeral Service will be held at Grace Lutheran Church of Banning, CA on Thursday, April 12, 2018 with burial immediately following at Mt. View Cemetery of Beaumont, CA.
