Peggy Sue Baker

Peggy Sue Baker, of Banning, died March 16, 2018. She was 76.

Ms. Baker was born March 2, 1942 in Hood River, Oregon and previously lived in Santa Paula for five years, Saticoy for two years, Ventura for 20 years and Banning for 18 years.

She graduated from Santa Paula High School and worked in retail for 20 years.

She was a member of Banning United Methodist Church. She was the proud parent of Jeffery A. Baker and Daniel W. Baker.

Ms.  Baker was predeceased by her father, Erine Baker, mother Virginia Baker and sister Betty Beatty.

She is survived by her sons, Jeffery A. Baker of Simi Valley and Daniel W. Baker, of Banning; nephew Richard Beatty of Oxnard; sister Shirley Doss, of Oklahoma; brother Erine Baker of Flint, Mich.; brother Tommy Baker of Statton, Kansas; sister Linda Doss, of Georgetown Kentucky. She also has one grandchild.

A celebration of life was held March 6 at Banning United Methodist Church. Cremation was handled by Wiefels and Sons in Banning.
