Lynn Chaparosa, 56, of Banning CA, passed away on August 31st 2018 in Ontario, CA.
Viewing will begin at 5 pm at Wiefels and Son Mortuary located at 50 E. Nicolet Street, Banning, CA 92220. Rosary will take place at the same location at 7 pm.
Funeral mass will be held 9:00 am Saturday, September 8, 2018 at the Torres Martinez Tribal Hall located at 66725 Martinez Road, Thermal CA, 92274. Burial will follow at Torres Martinez Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements are by Wiefels and Sons Mortuary.
Lynn was born at San Gorgonio Hospital in Banning, CA to Andrew and Florentina Chaparosa on March 28, 1961. Lynn was a graduate from Banning High School. She worked as an operator for Casino Morongo for 10 years. Lynn was a distinguished member of the Los Coyotes Tribal Council. She was proactive in the advancement of the Native American Community. She was well known and loved by members of all Tribes throughout Southern California. Lynn was a lover of sports, Raiders for Life. She loved to travel. Everywhere Lynn went she always had a smile on her face and made a new friend.
Lynn is preceded in death by her father Andrew Stephen Chaparosa , brother Andrew Stephen Chaparosa Jr., and daughter Evette Lynn Morreo.
Lynn is survived by mother Florentina Chaparosa of Torres Martinez; sisters, Stephanie Alcorn of Los Coyotes, Alesia Reed of Torres Martinez; daughters, Skye Chaparosa of Los Coyotes, Andelina Chaparosa of Los Coyotes; son Jackson Chaparosa of Los Coyotes; son-in-law, William Morrell of Morongo; nieces, Rosemarie Morreo, Juliane Alcorn; nephews, Lawrence Alcorn, Andrew(Drew) Chaparosa, Michael Chaparosa, Allen(AJ) Morreo, Nick Morreo, Gabriel Morreo; great nieces, Olivia Chaparosa, MaryJane Bullchild-Morreo; great nephews, Noah Chaparosa, Andrew Alcorn, Damien Morreo, Ayden Morreo; grandchildren, Isaac Reyna, Ilina Reyna, Melody (money) Morrell, Isil Chaparosa.
