Kenneth Edebri Ibude, 60, passed away on May 18, 2019 at St. Bernadine’s Hospital

He was born to parents Isaiah Ibude and Carol Ogiamien, on May 12th, 1959, in Benin City, Edo state, Nigeria. Kenneth graduated from California State Dominguez Hills where he received his bachelor’s in accounting. He worked for The State Correctional Prison in Chino for over 20 years. In his later life, he worked with the VA Hospital in Austin, Texas. He had a profound love for the newest technology as a result his children always received little gadgets all the time. In his spare time, he played the organ that was his long-time passion.

He married Patience Edekere, now ex-wife in 1993 and had three children together. Kenneth is survived by his oldest son Efosa Ibude, his only daughter Aiseosa Ibude and youngest son Orobosa Ibude. He also survived by his mother Carol Ogiamien and his father Isaiah Ibude. He is also survived by his younger brother Nelson and his two sisters Oliaton and Sikira.

The memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 1st, 2019, at 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Wiefels & Son Memorial Chapel, burial to follow at Montecito Memorial Park and Mortuary at 1 p.m. The family would like to thank those who have supported them

A special thanks to Mr. Joe Agahowa and Mrs. Kate Salami for their time, efforts and support towards Kenneth Ibude’s care in his later life.
