Our Condolences to the Libbey Family. May God's abundant blessings continue to surround the Libbey Family. My father, Rev Jose R Vera (1913-1966) founded and pastored a Pentecostal Church in Edinburg Texas. That is almost as far south as one can go in South Texas, The Libbey Family bus would arrive at our church and the Family would play their instruments for the congregation. This was in the 1950s and 1960's. It was such an attraction that the churches from the surrounding towns would cancel their services for that night and come over to our church to be present for the musical blessing s provided by the Libbey Family.

I recently found a cut news clipping of the Libbey Family Bankd announcing their performance at a Sunday service in Upland Ca. I have often thought of the Libby Family, I grew up in Sister Simpsons Alta Vista Mission in La Habra, and I grew up seeing the Libby Family bus pull in and causing so much excitement among the parishioners who had all gathered to listen to their testimony of they Love of Christ and also their beautiful music. I cherish these memories and I am now 69 years old and often think of these days and The Libby Family Bands gift to all who where Blessed to have been able to listen to them and to have such a wonderful memory of their live which included these wonderful performances at the Alta Vista Mission..God Bless the Libby Family Bank for gifting us with their gift......
