On Tuesday, September 18, 2018 Cynthia Ann Palacios reached eternal peace. Cynthia was born in Banning California where she remained a lifelong resident. Cynthia was married on April 28, 1979 to Michael Robert Palacios Sr. where they lovingly remained by one another’s side until her passing. They happily raised two children, Michael Robert Palacios Jr. and Nicole Ann Shaw. Cynthia was proud to extend her heart and family to Karre Rose Palacios and Joseph Christopher Shaw both spouses of her children and was excited to become a loving grandmother to Eland John Subish. Cynthia worked tirelessly and with great joy for more than 30 years at Riverside San Bernardino County Indian Health, Inc. During Cynthia’s tenure at Indian Health she worked to advocate and support the Native American population and to ensure care was delivered that was not only culturally aware but also done respectfully and with warmth. Cynthia was a devoted Catholic and expressed great faith and spirituality throughout her life, through challenges and loss. Cynthia was the foundation for her entire family and remained a source of strength, compassion, humility, humanity and love to all who ever had the privilege of meeting her. Those that knew Cynthia could attest to her soft spot for children and those in need. Cynthia will be greatly missed by all who ever had the honor of being a part of her life.
